Hi I’m Birdy. I am disabled, unemployed, and I have no income. Currently need money for essentials (food, meds, hygiene, etc). I’m currently being housed by a friend, and I plan to move in with my partner in another state once we can afford it.
“thanksgiving” is coming up. i can’t stop anyone from celebrating, but if you want to help a disabled afro-indigenous person avoid being forced to move in with his abuser, i would really appreciate the help. i genuinely would not be able to survive there long term - even a few days puts me in danger :( i am physical disabled and that makes me even more vulnerable

making this post shorter. i found a place! $620 for the first month’s rent and then $350 for a deposit, which makes it $1000 in total! i also need to pay overdue rent + cover the last month of utilities at my current place ($150 at most!), transfer to a bigger storage unit (will probs be cheaper but want to raise $200 jic the price goes up), pay my phone bill/replace my phone ($115), get a moving truck ($150 max), and replace my wheelchair tire tubes because of course it decided to stop functioning on my last few weeks before moving out when i desperately need it 😩 sorry ik its a Lot
